Description (last modified by max) (diff)
As a pilot, I want to be able to switch my PDA from landscape mode to portrait mode, and have XCSoar remember my infobox geometry for both modes.
Currently, when I switch between portrait and landscape modes it resets my info box geometry to the XCSoar defaults.
Suggest store Info box geometry info for both modes in profile.

That would be one approach to take. "8 right" makes a lot of sense in landscape, but less in portrait mode. We could rename the geometries to be screen shape neutral; e.g. "8 top/right"; but I would personally want "8 top + bottom" in portrait, and "8 right" when in landscape. Other pilots may prefer different combinations of portrait/landscape geometries.
I was imagining a single attribute displayed in configuration screen, and having it show either the landscape geometry or the portrait geometry depending on the current device.

What about using the same info box geometry in both modes?
