Hi,
of course I have the file otherwise I would not try to use this function.
I put it in the XCSoarData folder.
Best regards
Thomas

did you have a xcsoar-rasp.dat file for the day where you tried to use it? afaik it will only work on the day that is saved in the RASP file...

Hello, we have the same problem. We have the right file, we tried several. We could not get it working. We tried a file from today and one from another source. There is not much said in the manual. Can you please fix that. This would be great for wave flying. Hendrik from RASP-Linta.de just finished his code to generate the file on a daily basis, also for the wave areas. This feature is great, it would be awesome if it would work. Can you please try to fix it?

I guess either the format of the rasp files has changed or something is missing in the file from rasp-linta.de. I have quite an old one lying around (originally from http://rasp.drwuensche.de/, a site which does not seem to be providing current data anymore) and it works as expected including time selection even though this file is quite old (March 2011). The date does not seem to be relevant for xcsoar.

We tried the file, which we downloaded from rasp.wuensche.de. Its possible with that to pick a time for the rasp data. Unfortunately I can not see any data on the screen, tried e.g. W*. I also downloaded an IGC file for the area for which ulrich wuensche generated the file and tried it in replay mode. Did you try the latest file from his homepage? Could you please send us (attach) the file which works for you? thx

Now Hendrik from rasp.linta.de included W* in his experimental rasp-xcsoar file. Now xcsoar does the same thing which it does for the file from rasp.wuensche.de. So the times can be selected, but nothing is displayed in the map. Are we doing something wrong? What do we have to change to see the data? The rasp file includes zipped jpeg2000 files as a renamed zip file.
How can we make this function work? Could you use this function with the latest file from rasp.wuensche?

problem partly solved. XCS shows not all parameter right now, e.g. "hwcrit" works, but "dwcrit" does not. This can be solved by making the display parameter variable. I opened ticket #2409 for that request (and closed this one).

Like requested the old xcsoar-rasp.dat used for testing

That's because you don't have xcsoar-rasp.dat. (This is an educated guess, because you did not say that you have it, therefore I assume you don't have it. Reopen this ticket if I'm wrong.)
