This will be very useful to know all the time the HW/TW component to your next waypoint (or home), not only when circling but also when heading to different direction. Many of our summer XC routes or along the Sierras and the Whites, and the typical cross wind component may result in either tail wind or head wind component on the way back. It will be very helpful to know before in advance if you are going to have head wind or tail wind component on the way back. Having head wind component on the way down does not guarantee you will have tail wind component back, as often with cross wind you may have head wind component both ways.
