Hello,

Advanced Sport Instrument is a young Swiss Company developing solutions in the free flying field.

Our new compact, lightweight and highly accurate FlyNet? variometer connects via Bluetooth to mobile platforms.

Our instrument uses a very basic protocol that sends ascii patterns using
SPP profils over the Bluetooth link. Doc and Android sample code are available here:

I was expecting that the device also outputs GPS information or the barometric altitude, but apparently it only outputs vario and battery information, right?!

Yes, it outputs only the absolute pressure and battery information. It is supposed to be used with a smartphone, and all on them have already the GPS.
