Hangs if connected to serial port

Description
Test case 1:
Altair is not connected to any serial device.
=> works fine
Test case 2:
Altair connected (via com2) to a Vega/Flarm? re-player (running on a PC).
=> XCSoar hangs: button an knobs do not react, screen is frozen.
Test case 3:
Same as 2, but with the PC-version (via a PC virtual com port):
=> works fine
all test are done with a build form master 1175cab
If anyone is interested in the re-player, i could provide it.

I'm interested in the NMEA data you're feeding on the COM port.

Attached the re-player (made by triadis) and NMEA data. Works only on PC, self explained.

As a reply/follow up to the above mentioned cases: I tried to connect Silenwings on my Windows7 system via a virtual serial com port (created com 3 and 4. Those are also listed now in the device manager) to XCSoar for Windows. Silentwings: NMEA out com 3, XCSoar Device A: com 4, Condor simulator protocol. It doesn't work :( ! I know that the com ports are working, because another navigation program, I won't mention the name of..., does work with this.
What do I have to change??
