The British Gliding Association (BGA) maintains a list of turnpoints which is widely used in the UK.

Despite the Current list being reliably exported to various format on the Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange thanks to Ian Strachan, Tim Newport-Peace, it would be nice to use the file directly.

The list is available in MS Excel format and in a (custom) plain text format.

Note that Trigraphs are often used to refer to turnpoints. But not exclusively. As it depends of the personal preferences of the pilot *and* task setter, ideally, we need to keep both but make one more prominent.

Also WSTE provides a list of abbreviations of the TP name incorporating the trigraph in it at ​http://soaringweb.org/TP/BGA/bga_2011.hnd.txt. Not sure how it's generated and if we can/should reproduce on request from the pilot
